Television advertising is getting smarter.  Taking queues from internet targeted search, it is now possible to send the right ads to the right people at the right times, all to their set top box.

Cablevision Media Sales is an online portal for media buyers to get their ads on television to their best audience.  This site is four sites bundled into one global package: Cablevision Local Ad Sales, New York Interconnect, News 12, and Advanced products.  Each site comes equipped with a map displaying their area of coverage, and pinpoints key demographic data for the region, allowing local advertisers to engage with their neighborhood, and region.

Cablevision also sells ad time on over 80 different networks, from family channels, to sports and lifestyle channels.  A simple filtering system for networks gets potential buyers to the networks they want to see, and possibly find an untapped market as well.
